I delight in helping couples realize their vision of a memorable wedding ceremony that reflects and celebrates their love, values, and cultural and faith traditions. I have an open heart and an inclusive spirituality. Listening well and singing joyfully are also important to me.

I have been creating and officiating weddings since 1996. I am based in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area and travel to weddings throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area and Wine Country.

My journey to becoming a rabbi was a gradual one that included exploring other religious traditions. Eventually I discovered an approach to Judaism that I could embrace.

When I entered the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, my intention was to serve as a bridge for others who longed to connect with Judaism but needed help in doing that.

For over a decade, I served Jewish and interfaith families that did not have their own rabbi, including at the Bay Area Jewish Healing Center and as the Community Rabbi of the Greater East Bay. Since 2008, I have worked in hospice spiritual care, supporting people of all faiths or none.

I am open to a wide variety of religious, spiritual, and cultural approaches to weddings and enjoy connecting with people of diverse backgrounds.

I would be happy to meet with you to get acquainted, answer your questions about working together, and discuss how I might help you realize your vision for your wedding ceremony.

"Thanks again for such a wonderful ceremony. All my fears about the wedding feeling inaccessible to my relatives and other non-Jews in the crowd were totally unfounded. My parents couldn't stop talking about how much they loved it all and how much they thought of you. And I feel just the same way myself."
